Sandi Patterson, Master Artist Member of the Professional Doll Makers Art Guild has created a new poseable form for the fine art doll maker named the EZ  Pose Flexible Doll Body®.

It consists of a sturdy flexible wire skeleton covered with a molded body of soft urethane foam that is totally poseable and will not crumble or deteriorate over time. The EZ Pose Flexible Doll Body® can be posed in every conceivable manner without losing shape and can be returned to its original position without readjustments.

Attaching your sculpted or reproduction pieces to the body is a simple, quick, and secure process. Bodies can be modified with padding or trimming to suit your requirements.

Each body is complete to wrist and ankles to allow for full or partial sculpted limbs to be added. This body works equally well with resin, porcelain and soft sculptures.

I enjoy every aspect of the original art doll world with the exception of stuffing and sculpting a cloth body.

I find that the hours I spend creating a body is totally frustrating and the end result is less than satisfactory.

Out of my frustration was born a revolutionary idea for a new type of body. I have developed what I feel is a dream come true for doll artists and am excited to share this dream with you.
